I like my psp system as it is. Why is it that some or most of us want to modify the system? I wanted to modify mine, but , after purchasing my first downloaded game, I changed my mind on the whole thing. Just patience, brings great rewards. The firmware update is released by Sony, so it will actually improve the functionallity of your PSP. My friend update his all the time and it works great!!! Actually, some NEW features for the PSP is only available through these updates!!!!!!!
